ABOUT US

Canal FC was created from the heart of the Canal community. Our program exists for our families, our children, and the dreams that grow on the fields of Pickleweed Park. We believe that every child deserves a chance to play, to feel supported, and to belong, no matter their background or financial situation.

With the help of the City of San Rafael, ACCESS U Foundation, and Canal Alliance, we work to remove barriers that many families face. These partnerships allow us to keep our program affordable and to offer scholarships to families who need financial support.

Our coaching staff is led by former Ecuadorian national World Cup player Edwin Tenorio. He guides a team of dedicated coaches who create a training space where children feel encouraged, challenged, and cared for. Practices are filled with effort, joy, and the steady confidence that comes from being supported by coaches who truly believe in their growth.

Canal FC is more than a soccer program. It represents community pride, long term opportunity, and a promise that every child in the Canal will always have a safe and consistent place to learn and enjoy the sport they love.
